Travis Scott is facing yet another loss in his career following the Astroworld Festival tragedy. The "SICKO MODE" rapper was set to collaborate with fashion company Dior for a Cactus Jack collection in 2022, but now those plans have been shelved.
In a statement from Dior, the company said (via WWD), "Out of respect for everyone affected by the tragic events at Astroworld, Dior has decided to postpone indefinitely the launch of products from the Cactus Jack collaboration originally intended to be included in its summer 2022 collection." The outlet notes that Scott's reps confirmed that it was a mutual decision between the rapper and the fashion company.
On top of his Dior collab postponement, Scott also had his Nike sneaker deal put on ice following the deadly Astroworld tragedy. Initially set to release a pair of branded Nike Air Max 1s, Nike announced (via Sneaker News) that the drop would be put on hold "out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival."
