Diablo Cody’s newest film, Lisa Frankenstein, puts a horror spin on the ’80s teen rom-com genre — and it’s now available to watch at home.
The coming-of-age film is available to buy or rent on digital 4K Ultra HD at Apple TV, Prime Video and other transactional video-on-demand platforms.
In Lisa Frankenstein, Kathryn Newton stars as Lisa Swallows, a 17-year-old outcast who accidentally summons and falls in love with a Victorian-era zombie (Cole Sprouse). When her devoted undead boyfriend starts to get rid of anyone who upsets her, Lisa begins “Frankensteining” his missing body parts with pieces from the corpses.
