Carla Gugino can currently be seen in Netflix’s The Haunting of Bly Manor, which follows (though not narratively speaking) her leading role in the anthology’s former season, The Haunting of Hill House. 

Though recently taking a turn to the treacherous and horrifying — also appearing in Gerald’s Game in 2017 — Gugino is well-known for her recurring role in the Spy Kids franchise. Gutierrez is a Venezuelan film director, screenwriter, and film producer with many well-known titles to his name. He wrote the screenplays to the films Gothika, Snakes on a Plane, The Eye and The Big Bounce, and more. 

Gutierrez also took home the Critics Award at the Festival Du Film Policier de Cognac for his directorial debut, Judas Kiss, which was a 1998 film starring Gugino, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, and Simon Baker. The movie paved the way for many of the filmmaker’s later career accomplishments.
